1969

Founded on 'F' Street in Casper

Wyoming Machinery Company awarded the Caterpillar sales and service agreement for 16 of Wyoming's 23 counties.

1976

New Casper Facility Opens

Opened the new Casper facility on Old Yellowstone Highway — where Wyoming Machinery has stood strong ever since.

1978

Cheyenne Branch Opens

Expanded to serve southern Wyoming with a full-service branch in Cheyenne.

1982

Gillette Branch Opens

Opened Gillette location to serve the booming Powder River Basin coal mining industry.

1985

Rock Springs Branch Opens

Expanded to southwestern Wyoming to serve trona mining and oil & gas operations.

2002

Component Rebuild Center Completed

Completed the 73,320 sq ft Component Rebuild Center (CRC), expanding in-house rebuild capabilities.

2012

Expanded Mining Business Acquired

Purchased Caterpillar's Expanded Mining Business in Gillette, marking a major milestone in mining support.

2014

#1 in Caterpillar Dealer Excellence

Recognized by Caterpillar as number one in Dealer Excellence. Also awarded the Governor's Safety Award for Large Employers.

2018

Dragline Service Specialties (DSS) Opens

Opened DSS, headquartered in Casper with facilities in Gillette, WY and Tyler, TX — serving mining customers across the U.S.

2019

Second Governor's Safety Award

Awarded the State of Wyoming Governor's Safety Award for Large Employers for the second time.
