Dragline Service Specialties (DSS) is the core of our mining division and the reason our company name carries that heritage. DSS provides comprehensive dragline service including structural repair, boom and rigging work, electrical system overhauls, and complete major outage support.
Our dragline team has decades of experience on all major dragline makes and models including Caterpillar, Bucyrus, P&H, and Marion machines. We perform work on walking draglines from 20-yard to 160-yard bucket capacity, serving coal mines, phosphate operations, and overburden removal applications.
DSS dragline capabilities include major structural fabrication and repair, boom section replacement, tub and base frame repair, hoist and drag rope sheave replacement, electrical house overhauls, walking shoe and cam repair, and complete major outage management. Our mobile machining equipment handles boring bars from 1-3/4" to 8', and our portable lifting system provides 9.5 million pounds of synchronized lifting capacity.
